Denver is one of the healthiest and most pet-friendly cities in the nation. These two seem to go hand-in-hand as you make your way around the city. You'll see folks with their dogs of all sizes walking the streets of downtown, at the various dog parks around the area, hiking and biking...there isn't much we won't do without our favorite pet! I've been married for 15 years and my husband and I currently have three dogs, Kodi, Kirby and Keagan. "The Boys" fans of the large dog park at Chatfield Reservoir, long walks along the Highline Canal, mountain hikes with K9 friends and lake swims!

Kirby is a large (92#) flat coat retriever who was adopted from the Colorado Humane Society and has been with us for about 6 years now. He's a big swimmer and prefers to think of himself as a lap dog. Our second dog is Keagan, a Carolina Dog (aka: Dixie Dingo) weighing in at about 65 lbs. He's the energetic, "wild boy" of the two with an electric personality! Our third, Kodi, was adopted from the Denver Dumb Friends League about a year ago. He's a chow/german shephard mix who brought with him some aggressive behavior. Over the last year we have worked diligently with him and I'm proud to report that he's a much friendlier, well socialized dog today. All three are now enjoying the cold and snow that comes with a beautiful Colorado winter.
